Anybody remember this? I beat this game, back then, must have been like 12 years old. I remember being soooo excited when I finally got to the dragons lair.

Awesome! Thanks for posting that. It's amazing how old school (animation and in D&D) that game was. Dirk did plenty of running from monsters too!
Yeah, no lie, b.i., he was pretty much the regular-guy anti-hero of the original D&D mold. Not superheroic in any way. Much like the original "roll 3d6 in order and if he dies, do it again" mentality. You got to see Dirk die over and over again in a myriad of painful ways.
